Offering Dichroic Fused Glass Jewelry and Wheel Thrown Stoneware Pottery

The online gallery is currently featuring handmade kiln fused dichroic art glass jewelry, wheel thrown and handmade stoneware pottery. I also have a small gallery of my photo prints and more items that will be coming soon to the gallery.

The new line of dichroic fused glass jewelry features pendants and earrings that are created by carving dichroic glass pieces in many varying sizes and colors then applying a mosaic technique to produce an artistic and colorful design. I've found this is a wonderful way to create affordable, beautiful miniature works of wearable art. Recently I've also added natural stone and silver beads for dramatic necklaces and earrings.

Dichroic glass is glass containing multiple micro-layers of metal oxides which give the glass dichroic optical properties. The coating that is created is very similar to a gemstone and, by careful control of thickness, different colors are obtained. The colors shift depending on the angle of view.
